Poetry performers of the week ...

The children read and watched a range of performance poetry including Michael Rosen and Benjamin Zephaniah to take notes of techniques and ideas they would like to use for their own performance of the poem 'The Sound Collector.' The children worked very hard in their groups and the teamwork was fantastic. Our poetry performers are posted below - a group from 3A in the outdoor theatre,  and one from 3S! Well  on your expression and imaginative ways to present the poem.

3A Star Writers of the Week

Welcome to our blog's new feature ... the Star Writers of the week! We are very proud of all our children's efforts in their writing and want to have a little incentive each week. We will be celebrating children who have particularly excelled in their efforts and achievements in writing across the curriculum.Last week's piece was a recount about our Farm to Fork trip to Tesco. KS2 Easter Egg Competition

It's that time of Year again! In KS2 the children design their own 'Eggcellent' projects as part of a KS2 competition for our Easter celebrations which will be exhibited on Thursday 24th March! Sport Relief

 

This Friday will see our Sport Relief 2016 celebrations and fundraising take place. The children have been very excited to practise for their Sport Relief mile in our PE sessions! Year 3 have also been sharing what sports hero they will be dressing up as! We will be doing the 'Step it up' for Sport Relief video on Friday so here is the link for you to have a go at home!
